Somilez Francis, MS, MSBT
Founder and Principal Consultant
Somilez Francis is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Public Health Impact Group, where she partners with nonprofit organizations, healthcare systems, and public institutions to design data-driven strategies that improve health outcomes and operational efficiency. With more than a decade of experience across public health, biotechnology, and project management, she brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and strategic insight to every engagement.
Before founding Public Health Impact Group, Somilez led major research and program initiatives at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Morehouse School of Medicine, where she oversaw multimillion-dollar projects, managed compliance efforts, and built partnerships that advanced health equity and innovation.
Somilez holds dual master’s degrees in Biology and Biotechnology, and a bachelor’s in Molecular and Microbiology. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based strategy, collaboration, and measurable impact, helping organizations move from ideas to implementation with clarity and confidence.
When she’s not consulting, Somilez develops educational programs that empower communities and professionals to use technology to drive sustainable health solutions.
